1. It makes you feel calm when you do yoga

When you do yoga and take deep breaths, your body relaxes and your mind feels peaceful and calm. Every time you learn a new pose, you become stronger and more confident, believing in yourself and what your body can do. Yoga is great for helping you feel better when you’re worried or upset.

Yoga teaches you to pay attention to your body and your breath. This can help you

concentrate better at school or when doing homework.

3. It helps you relax and sleep better

Doing yoga before bed can help your body and mind get ready for a good night's rest.

4. It helps you understand your feelings

Yoga helps you notice how you're feeling- happy, angry, or sad - and teaches you ways to calm down or cheer up.

5. It helps you be kind and, get along with others

When you do yoga with friends or classmates.
